William Harry Jones (November 20, 1949 – February 7, 1995) was an American guitarist and singer best known as a founding member of Outlaws.
Jones was a major contributor to the discography of The Outlaws. He parted ways with the band after the Ghost Riders album, leaving in 1981.[1] On February 7, 1995 it was reported that Billy Jones died from a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head.[2] He was survived by his wife Pamela K. Jones and son Justin Ryan. He is buried in the Eternal Life Section of Garden of Memories Cemetery in Tampa Florida.
